Pharmacy cosmetics continue to thrive, without a doubt. The products we find in pharmacies and that are recommended by their experts are experiencing their own golden age, backed by the expertise of the laboratories and the endorsement of pharmacists. But which have been the most innovative and top-selling products this year?
"Almost always, when we talk about innovative and cutting-edge cosmetics, the big brands with their enormous economic power are behind them. However, this year has been different, as many of the most successful laboratories are new, small, and the result of the knowledge development of pharmacists. In fact, social networks have been key to this success because they provide a lot of information to consumers, and this makes us increasingly aware of the products and know what we desire, being more demanding in terms of quality than in other aspects that used to make us buy a cosmetic product. Hence the big change in strategy for many laboratories in how they inform about their products and reach more people," says our collaborator and pharmacist Meritxell Martí when asked about some of this year's top products.
